ART CRAFT NYC:

FROM SCRIPT TO SPACE

“A room caught between childhood and becoming…”

In the need for weaving worlds though aesthetic, I searched all over the world for a place that would help me translate the machinations of my brain.

Art Craft NYC became the tool to do so, being a training program that frames production design as a narrative practice. Through research and character building, we shaped the visual discourse of a short film, translating story, context, and emotion into spatial language.

Working in pairs, we developed the concept for A Portrait of Frances Enclosed, a 1970s Midwestern coming-of-age story exploring identity and shifting family dynamics. The project culminated in a wrap book and a design deck articulating the visual concept, set layouts, and production needs.
