From institution to experience: translating value into form.
In mid-2020, the Bank of Mexico launched a call for design and architecture studios to envision an innovative proposal for the Museo del Banco de México (MBM)—a cultural space dedicated to translating the role of the central bank into an accessible, spatial narrative.
The museum sought to reveal both the functions of the institution and the symbolic value of its numismatic collection through an engaging visitor experience. Our intervention focused on shaping the museographic language of the space through the design of custom furniture for common areas and exhibition environments, contributing to a cohesive dialogue between content, architecture, and experience.
